This Fresno Breastfeeding Class is for first time and experienced nursers.  Newborn babies come out hungry and ready to nurse! Breast milk comes naturally, but breastfeeding is a learned skill that takes patience and persistence in the early weeks. This class will cover everything you need to know ahead of time to help ease the transition for you and your baby, including recognizing baby's early hunger cues, proper positioning and correct latch on, how long and how often to nurse, and how to avoid and solve common breastfeeding concerns. The small class sizes mean information is tailored to your needs. Intended for pregnant women; your support person is welcome to attend with you.
